Good Day For The Pool!

I mean, with 95 degree heat and a "feels like" temp of 107, it seemed like a good day to spend at the pool! (Thanks Dad and Becky!) 

BTW - sorry for the late post. With everything I wanted to do today, I didn't get a chance this morning.

So I got up at 6:00 today and started my walking routine with the pups at 6:30. First Scout, then Boo and finally Reggie. I was home by 8:00 and took a quick shower. From there I headed to Walmart for a couple rafts and some work out apparel. Have I mentioned that Walmart has great workout shit? I found some good shirts for summer that are $5.48 a piece so of course I had to have one in every color. I pretty much wear them every day. 

Anyway, after Walmart I headed to the hospital to see Susan. She's doing great, looks great and is already up and about doing laps around her hospital floor. Her release is still slated for Friday! After that I headed to Raeburn. Becky hung out with me until she had to go to Tai Chi (about 12:45). I then did a nice swim workout, just a nice leisurely breaststroke for about 20 minutes. I left there around 2:00, got home, let Reggie out, watered the flowers and now here we are. A pretty easy and relaxing day. 

Jim didn't get off to work until later than usual today so I don't expect him home until after 4:00, closer to 5:00. Dinner tonight will be BBQ Chicken Joes with slaw and fries. I left it up to Jim, again. I like to make him think he makes at least some of the decisions around here. Just kidding. 

I'm thinking about going up to Columbus on Monday for a couple days. The weather is supposed to be really nice so why not? My plans while there? You can find me in the pool. I feel like I haven't gotten my tan on yet. And you know what? I'm not that bothered by it. I have some color but nothing like I usually do by now. But who care. 

I got a text from my friend Terri today asking about joining her and others for drinks on Friday. I'm still deciding if I want to do that. It'll be Friday evening downtown with traffic and whatnot, I'm just not sure yet. We'll see. 

And that's all I've got. My dumb dogs keep wanting to go outside and that makes them fools! I mean, if I had a fur coat on, I wouldn't want to lay in the sun. Crazy little effers!
