I just finished walking the boys. I didn't get to go as far as I wanted because everyone and their brother was out walking their dog and Boo would have lost his mind. I ended up only getting to take him up the street but he doesn't care. He was just happy to get out there.
I have a neighbor up the street (actually my next door neighbors parents) who's doing a renovation on their house (he has ALS and they're putting it something that will allow him to have more access) which is great, but the trucks that come and deliver equipment leave such a mess. There are rocks and dirt piles all over the place and normally I would care about that but you know one of these days when I take a bike ride I'm going to hit a rock and take a header off my bike. I'm very careful every time I pass through that spot.
Speaking of my bike I need a tune up. When I got my bike the sales guy said that I'd probably need to get an adjustment on the gears about 30 days after purchase. This is normal and free. I've noticed my gears slipping a bit so I told Jim and he said he call about getting into Montgomery Cyclery. I told Jim we should go to the Loveland location after he gets off work one of these days and then go to dinner in downtown Loveland while they tune it up. He got all weird saying he didn't want to go to Loveland...he didn't like that shop, it HAS to be Montgomery. Whatever dude. I think you're the weird one. Anyway, when he called the Montgomery location the phone wasn't working so he ended up having to call Loveland anyway. Ha!
Today, after I finish this I'll mow the lawn and either take a bike ride or get on the elliptical. From there I may sit on my deck and do some school work until it's time for lunch. And then, who knows. Maybe I'll lay out. Why the hell not, right?
Man, did you watch the January 6th hearing from yesterday? I watched most of it and holy merde! That was some damning shit. Mark Meadows should probably think about getting a really good lawyer! And trump is one fucked bastard. Based on what he obviously knew and did there's no way he should even be allowed to run in 2024. I can't imagine that the AG won't bring charges against any number of people, especially trump for what they did; what they incited. We'll see.
Dinner tonight: I think I'll do a one-pan dinner with kielbasa, roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts. Easy go to.
