A Somewhat Normal Routine

I'm kind of back to my normal routine now that I'm not taking care of Reggie next door. However, since I'm headed north today to Columbus, things are still a bit wonky. I got up at 6:00, had my coffee and started walking the dogs around 6:30. Once I was done with that, around 7:30, I got on the elliptical, showered and here we are. I'll hit the road at about 9:00, once I finish with this. I do need to stop at Kroger on my way out for a couple items but I should get to Maggie's no later than 11:00. 

Plans while I'm there: You can find me poolside hanging with Maggie and Eva and getting as much swim time as I can in. The temps are headed back into the 90s this week so it's a good time to be near a pool. Other than that, we have no plans! 

The weekend was lovely! I met Jim at Shooters around 2:30 on Friday and then we came home and just hung out on the deck. Once about 4:00 hit, the humidity went away and it was awesome. Jim and I went to Raeburn on Saturday and Trip and JJ showed up so we were able to get in 3 awesome games of volleyball. Unfortunately JJ and I lost 2/3 games but the last one was a nail biter. I think the final score was 23 - 21. (JJ and I almost came back to beat Trip and Jimmy but it just wasn't meant to be. I think they cheated! Allegedly!) 

Sunday Jim and I just hung around here. I laid out. Jim worked in the yard a bit and took a bike ride. He only went about 5 miles but he's getting there. I'm so happy he's getting back to doing what he loves! 

And that's about all I've got. I need to finish packing up my shit and hit the road. Happy Monday! Later
