Yummy!

Last night, for dinner, I made cauliflower buffalo "wings". I wasn't sure how it was going to go over, especially after I made them. I was worried about Jim liking them because of the sauce - I thought it would be too "vinegary" for him. However...THEY WERE AMAZING! I mean, I had had cauliflower wings before but at a restaurant but who knew how they would turn out in my air fryer. Well, aside from the fact that they took a little longer in the air fryer than the recipe called for, they were perfect. Man oh man! Now I need to find a good Jamaican Jerk cauliflower wing recipe. So good! 

Another "So Good"? The Morning Show. I've been watching it - the first season - for the last few weeks and it took me a bit to really get into it...mainly because Jennifer Aniston's character just wasn't that likable. But now I think that was completely on purpose. I wasn't supposed to like her. That's some good writing. Can't wait to watch the second season. 

Speaking of good television...I'm going to be BUSY over the next several weeks...watching TV. So many of my fave shows are about to be released: GBBO (9/21), Sex Education (9/17); Ozark is supposed to be back in October (no release date); Survivor (9/22); I'm still watching Modern Love. So if you're looking for me, you can find me glued to my TV or iPad. 

Soooooo happy it's Friday! The weekend should be good too. I'm going to a small Oktoberfest get together at my friend Terri's house Saturday and that should be fun. Sunday is going to be HOT and if I'm not too hung over (I don't plan on it) my neighbor invited me to hang at her pool Sunday. Tonight we'll just chill, have leftovers and I'm sure Jim's going to be exhausted and just want to sit on the couch.

Why will Jim be exhausted? He's rented a trench digger for the day. We have a drain that's been sitting in our backyard that's needed burying for a LONG time and he's finally taking care of it. Hopefully it won't be too hard and he won't over do it. I'm just happy it's not going to be an eyesore anymore. 

Speaking of eyesore, my backyard is coming back already. The seed we laid for the ruined grass hasn't really started sprouting yet but the grass is re-growing now that the armyworms are dead. Thank God!

Oh, and if you're wondering, Jim moved his scan to Tuesday. Couple reasons for that. A) He'd forgotten about the appointment when he rented the trench digger and B) he didn't have the contrast which needs to be taken prior to the appointment. So, we'll have to wait until Tuesday to see what's up with his lungs. He's not been coughing that bad so that's good but I won't breathe easy until I know.
