Swollen Eye

It's so weird...I got up around 2:00 to go to the bathroom and all was fine. Then at 4:00 when my alarm went off and I went downstairs, fed the dog (Scout wouldn't come downstairs), brewed my coffee and sat down on the couch to wake up for 15 minutes before going to workout, I realized my right eye was swollen to all hell. I looked in the mirror and it looked like I got punched. I don't know what happened but it hurts and seemed to just get worse. I ended up calling in sick because no one wants to look at this. Plus it's watering and a bit goopy. I'll see how things go over the next couple hours and see what to do from there.

In other news, it's Thursday and I'm so excited for the weekend. I have lots of plans around here. First and foremost is to clean out my closet. I've been talking about this for months and just never did it. However, I'm running out of room and there are just too many things in there that I don't wear anymore so it's time. It's always a bit of a risk to do this, however because more room in my closet tends to push me to buy new clothes. I certainly don't need any pants but I could always use more tops and sweaters. I'll try to hold off though. I have plenty.

Jim's hanging out with his brother today which means I'll have the house to myself...that'll be nice today. Dinner tonight is burritos! Yummy!

It's that time of year when my hands do that weird numbing thing...I forget what it's called...something with an R. Oh yeah, Raynaud's disease. So annoying but not dangerous and really only happens when it's cold and when I've just exercised. I need to get some heated gloves. Or I should just work out with mittens. That would help.

And that's all I've got. I'm going to go brew another cup of joe and sit holding my mug, warming my hands and watch the news. Happy Thursday! Later!
