Jim had his appointment with the ortho dude and scheduled a hip replacement for April 13th. Time will tell if that actually happens. I'd love for it to because it would give him such relief from the pain he constantly feels just walking, standing and sitting. To give him a better quality of life...well, isn't that what we all should have? Fingers crossed he stays/gets healthy enough to keep the appointment.
Nothing new, by the way in regard to his bowel. Not sure when he goes in again to have his gut checked. He has an appointment on 10/5 but I think that's with his oncologist. Guess he'll have to call to see when he goes in again.
School: I have a short training thingy at the end of the day today...no big deal. Other than that, I'll just be doing my normal thing with the kids. I can't believe the quarter ends two weeks from tomorrow. Time flies.
Dinner tonight: Crab cakes, corn on the cob and tomato mozzarella basil salad.
Met the new neighbor yesterday. I had met his wife but finally met him. His name is Paul and their son is James. He's a stay-at-home dad and has his hands full with their 1 1/2 year old not to mention the baby on the way (due in November). I asked him how the unpacking is going and he said they're still 80% in boxes. Ugh! That would drive me nuts. But how do you unpack with a little toddler always tugging at your leg?
And that's all I've got. Time to get a move on. Happy Wednesday! Ooh, it's national biscotti day! Yum! K - later.
