| He's not bad to look at either! |
Jim's talking to me. He knows better. In fairness though, there was a Jack Russel on the TV and he wanted me to see it. I'm okay with that. I'm not okay when he interrupts me to make comments about stupid shit on the news.
The rain has finally stopped and boy did it freaking pour yesterday. We certainly needed it but now my grass is out of control. Again, not complaining but guess what I'll be doing this weekend? BTW - my grass is greener than green. It's even greener than spring. I think all the seed we laid since the new deck and spa went in is finally sprouting fully.
Yesterday at school, just as I was about to heat up my food for lunch (and let me tell you I was STARVING!!!) the power went out at school. And it stayed out for about an hour. It was the one day in about two weeks that I didn't take a salad. I ended up eating cold pizza, which was delicious, actually. I'm not generally a cold pizza person but you do what you've got to do when you're in dire straits.
I have no idea why the power went out. Rumor was that a construction worker nearby hit something. But who knows because did our admins keep us in the know? Nope. I get that they were probably running around trying to figure things out but...oh, wait, no they weren't doing that. One admin was apparently in the office taking selfies with her "twin" (it's homecoming week and the dress up for yesterday was twin day) to post on IG. Another was in the auditorium screaming at the study hall kids (who were sitting in pitch black darkness) and another was standing around in the main hallway chit chatting with a slew of other do-nothings. But really, why do I care? None my, right?
Dinner tonight: I'm going to either make garlic chicken parmesan meatloaf or pull a meal from the freezer, like pulled pork from Aldi. If I make that, however, I'll need to go to the store at my plan bell. We'll see how I feel.
And that's all I've got. Time to get a move on. Happy Wednesday! Later!
