Oh, and let me get this in before I start yammering: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIANE!!! (I don't know if she even still reads this but just in case.) My boys wanted to tell you that when they can't have their real momma, their Mama Diane is the next best thing. They love how you take care of them, make them feel loved and help to miss me a little less. They can't wait for December when they get to see you while we're in the Bahamas.
Back to my busyness. So after I finish this, I'll get up and do my yoga/Pilates (I haven't chosen a routine yet). From there, I'll shower and prepare for my day. I have a tooth appointment at 9:30 which I think they said should take less than an hour. After that, I'll head to Aldi for a pretty big shop. By the time I finish there, I'm hoping it's close to noon so that I can stop by Kroger on my way home to get my flu/covid shots. At 12:30 I have a telephone conference with my financial dude. Then after that, I'm going to mow the lawn. At some point I need to walk Scout, clean a bit and do some laundry. I'm exhausted already.
In regard to my financial conference, originally, when I first set the appointment, I was thinking of telling them that I wanted to be a little more aggressive but with everything going on (government shutdown etc.) I'm not sure the economy is stable enough right now. I'm guessing he's going to tell me to just stay the course right now, which is fine. I'm still "making money" with my bonds so for now I'll be content with that.
I had a new prepared meal from Aldi last night and it was really good. It was artichoke stuffed chicken. It could have gone either way but it was really tender and delicious, not too artichokie. (Sometimes artichoke meals are too sour and this wasn't.) I'll definitely get that again. So far, I think all the prepared meals I've gotten there have been winners.
I still haven't had a fire in my fireplace this year which is bumming me out. Maybe this weekend will be it. It's all ready though. Jim set it up about a week ago so all I'd have to do is light it and I have plenty of wood in the cradle. I just need weather to cooperate and the time to enjoy it.
Dinner tonight: I'm not sure what I'll do. I might make burritos with chicken because I need leftovers but we'll see.
And that's all I've got. Time to get a move on and get my yogalates done. Happy Wednesday. Later!
