Today should be an easy but crazy day. It's homecoming weekend so we have a pep rally at the end of the day which means we're on an assembly schedule. Bells are short (YAY!!!) and it's a video day in my classes. Woot! Hopefully SB will be good and hopefully he had a good week so he can see the dogs. I know for me he worked every day with few complaints and is not failing a class. I can't say that for all my kids.
We got our chimney swept yesterday and interestingly enough our wood guy also delivered a load of wood. I think that's a sign that we should have a fire this weekend. It feels like we're a little late this year. The weather has just been so warm, you know? I'll have to get Jim to bring up the wood cradle and all our fireplace utensils.
The chimney sweep really effed up my routine yesterday. I ended up NOT being able to exercise and instead mowed the backyard. Scout also didn't get a good walk but that's his own fault. His back paw is still raw which is making his momma mad! I told him yesterday he needed to cut the shit out because we're going to PIB next weekend, which means lots and lots of walks so he needs to be able to...WALK!!! I told him that this weekend we'd probably have to wrap it. He's not going to be happy.
No real weekend plans. I keep saying I'm going to clean out my drawers and closets. The problem is, the weekends keep being beautiful and that's a rainy day job. We'll see. I need to mow the front yard and I'm sure we'll go out to lunch, at least.
Dinner tonight: Pulled pork with cole slaw and fries. This is one of my go-to Aldi meals and is delicious and easy.
