Navalny

If you don't know the name, you certainly know the man. He's the leader of the Russia of the Future party and founder of the Anti-Corruption Foundation. He's the Russian who was poisoned and nearly murdered by Putin and his thugs because of his outspoken criticism of Putin's regime. On the recommendation of Hugh Jackman (my good friend) I watched the documentary yesterday and it was so eye-opening. Anyone who thinks Putin isn't dangerous is living in a dream world and has obviously never lived a day in the dictatorship that is Russia. Watch it. It will leave you reeling and shocked and so happy to be an American.

My day yesterday was quite lovely. I got up around 5:30 which is kind of sleeping in for me. From there I enjoyed coffee, breakfast (no fasting for me yesterday), a mimosa and then yoga. From there I exercised and took a lovely bath. I was going to walk the dogs then but the weather was still a little nasty. So, I ate lunch and put some laundry away. Once that was complete, I managed to get Scout walked. I had just stepped out with Boo when it started raining again so I turned around and instead, read and finally finished my book (A Gentleman in Moscow). After doing dinner prep and feeding the dogs, I lit a fire and sat down to watch the documentary I talked about above.

Jim got home around 5:30 and hearing that Boo didn't get a good walk and being the good dad he took his boy out for a little leg stretch. Boo was so happy. After dinner, I headed upstairs to read. It was a perfect snow day off.

Today will be a bit of a busy one since my IEP was cancelled yesterday. I also have to switch all my plans set for yesterday to today in Google Classroom. Not difficult but tedious.

Dinner tonight will be some sort of chicken...I bought some Yum Yum sauce and will cook something up that it will go with. Not sure what yet.

Oh, did I mentioned some time back that Cincinnati Bell/Alta Fiber was installing fioptics in my neighborhood? It started before Christmas and in some areas, they're still working. However, on my street it's now ready for "purchase". I called to set up a phone consultation which will happen Saturday. I'm so sick of Spectrum and how it just gets more and more expensive with very few channels on our plan. I just want to know that for a couple years, I won't be paying out the ass for so little. Fingers crossed.

Not much else to discuss. Jim messed up my routine by getting up near to the same time I did. Ugh! Oh well.

Happy Thursday (I could get used to having a  weekday off mid-week!). So excited tomorrow's Friday! Later!
