D-I-V-O-R-C-E

I had one of my recurring dreams last night but took it a step further. The dream is that I'm moving out of my house into a loser apartment and I'm not happy about it. Normally in my dream I don't know why I'm moving and I keep thinking to myself in my dream I love my house! Why am I moving!? Last night, however, I knew why. Because Jim and I were getting a divorce. Ugh! Hope this isn't a foreshadowing. Oh, and in my dream, I moved into a complex where Luann De Lesseps was my neighbor (from the Real Housewives of New York). That was a shocker. She was trying to give one of her hoity toity friends my refrigerator and I wasn't having it! I kept saying, "Where will I keep my Rose!?" (wine) Bitch!

I started a documentary last night called Stutz on Netflix. It's a film by Jonah Hill (Superbad, The Wolf of Wall Street). Stutz is Dr. Stutz, Jonah's psychiatrist and the film explores the tools that he's used in helping Jonah work through and life with the challenges he's had in his life. It's a really interesting look at depression and really good. It doesn't just look into Jonah Hill's life but really attempts to be a movie about Dr. Stutz.

I finished watching The Crown and though I liked it I didn't like how it ended. Not that it ended on a sour note or with some sort of "cliffhanger" but it just didn't seem like an end to a season. Oh well.

The latest on the student I talked about yesterday who refuses to come to school and mom wants to find a way to possibly get her to graduate early: I replied and simply said, "This isn't a decision I can make so I'll leave it up to the admin and counselor to figure this out with you. Please keep me in the loop though." I mean, I don't know what else to do? The big kicker is that it would be sort of an easy fix if she had a license or transportation to shorten her day but that isn't the case. And I can tell you, the school isn't going to truck her home if that's what mom is thinking. Not that she's said that and not that I think she's alluding to that but she'll probably ask. I don't know if anyone responded to her but if they did, they didn't cc me on the mail. Typical.

Dinner tonight will be a walnut and rosemary crusted chicken with broccoli and probably rice.

Jim postponed his scan until Wednesday. He had taken his truck in for a fix last Friday and needed to get it which would have interfered with his scan. Typical.

Fingers crossed tonight that I win the lottery! For those who read this, you can be sure I'll give you a little something if I'm a winner.

K - time to get a move on. We're starting a new book in ELA today...hope the kids like it. Happy Tuesday. Later!
