Future Cluster F^*k

Mercy Health just dropped a press relief about a new $156 million, 60-bed hospital and medical office complex on the old “Hall of Fame” site located, literally across the street from my high school. It's going to take about 2 years to complete and is going to be a nightmare. Traffic, I'm sure is going to be a disaster because the roads leading to my school barely handle our traffic as it is. Ugh! This is going to suck!

Nothing much to tell in the Luna saga. I got my reprimand removed from my main folder and unless Luna were to ask specifically for any discipline documentation, she'd never see it. Really I don't care about it because as anyone who read the reprimand and rebuttal would see, the administration was at fault in the incident...not me. So for the time being, there's nothing I need to do. If something additional happens, I'll consult with a lawyer. In the meantime I'll wait for Luna to find another reason to have a complete meltdown and just do my job.

As I mentioned previously, Jim worked late last night and I was fast asleep by the time he got home. Seems he feels the need to make up for that time this morning and won't leave me alone. Ugh! He'll work late again tonight (well, not "work" as he's helping out a friend) so I guess I'll have some sort of leftover concoction for dinner. Makes no never mind to me...kind of nice to just chill with my pups.

I've been listening to some good books lately when I walk the dog: A sort of mystery/whodunnit series with a character named Jackson Brodie by Kate Atkinson. Recommended. Funny and suspenseful. I'm physically reading the Obama book as well as The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett...all good!

I really don't have much else to talk about. Sorry...but boring is good, right? At least Luna isn't breathing down my neck (currently...knock on wood).

Alright...well, best mosey. Happy Thursday! So looking forward to a 3-day weekend. Stay safe and covid-free. Later!
