Sorry I'm so late in posting. School has been a bear today. A lot of kids not doing their work or doing shoddy work which means I have to get on their case and "chase them down" or email their sped teacher to get on their case. After this I have to email parents about the fact that their kid isn't showing up for school which means they don't understand the work or they're not doing it and so their grades are reflecting their dip-shitness. So sick of dipshits.
About yesterday and the insurrection at the capitol: How, at this point, does any person who calls themselves American, support trump? Seriously! How can you say you support someone like him and in the same breath yell "AMERICA"? Because you don't support our democracy if you support him. You have no concept of our constitution if you're okay with him going directly against it. And don't kid yourselves into thinking that he cares about any of us or this country. He's doing what he's doing because he's having a temper tantrum because he lost. And it he lost in a FAIR election. And he can't handle the fact that he falls into the same category as the people he shuns: Losers! Please tell me your 401K isn't so important that you have given up your morals and decided to turn away from what is right and virtuous. Sometimes it's about more than money. And really what has he done for you lately? What has he done for you at all? What promises has he kept? There is blood on this man's hands, make no mistake. And to think otherwise is turning away from reality. There were 4 people who died in yesterday's melee and that would never have happened if trump hadn't goaded his supporters into marching onto the capitol. He is complicit as are those who support him.
I don't really have anything else to say about this except to say I'm ashamed for America right now. I'm ashamed of those who can't see the difference between right and wrong. I'm ashamed that some of our supposed leaders are condoning this behavior. I'm ashamed that those who scream "FAIRNESS!" don't see that what they're demanding they are also trying to destroy. I'm ashamed that this is what our country has come to. I hope these people can remove their heads from their asses and realize that this man (I hate calling him that) does not love this country. This man does not love you. This man is looking out for one person and one person only. Wake up and lets be better.
Okay well, I could go on and on but I have a headache and just want to take a bath. And while I'm soaking, I'm going to read something inspirational: Barack Obama's new book, A Promised Land. It's really so inspiring. I'm sure a few of you won't have any interest but if you want to see what a true American is, someone who, for his WHOLE life has dedicated himself to making this country better (not an opinion, that's a fact!), making people's lives better for no other reason than it was a calling he had, read this book. Maybe it will inspire you to see what a true patriot and leader should look like.
