Too Much On My Plate

Even though it's a day off and I should just relax and enjoy it, I have way too much to do today. I almost forgot to post but here I am. I need to do yoga, make a menu for the week, walk the boys, grocery shop, clean the house and mow the lawn, which needs to be done before noon in case it rains. I might have to put off my yoga which I hate to do but thems the brakes. 

Put-in-Bay was lovely. We got to the Miller at 9:01, bought our tickets and drove straight on the ferry. I love when that happens. It was a very rainy Friday but I didn't care. Once we unloaded the car and got the boys settled, we relaxed until it was time to go to lunch. We opted for Topsy Turveys. After that, we were back at home napping. Becky caught the 2:30 ferry and was at the cottage by 3:00. Dinner that night was stuffed peppers and a salad .

Saturday was pretty cold and cloudy at first. We had breakfast at Pisquale's and afterward unloaded the garage and got all the outdoor furniture etc. placed. Becky cleaned out and straightened the sheet linen closet. She put labels up as well, however, I don't have much hope that the cousins will maintain that order. Jim and I went for a drink at The Reel Bar and then came home to chill some more. Dinner was pork tenderloin on the grill, broccoli and yellow rice. 

Jim talked to Bobby Bahney who told him that our next door neighbors plan on putting their house on the market. Zillow estimates its worth to be about $970K and they're hoping to get a cool million for it. It has a double lot and includes their storage garage up the road. It also has dock space. However, it's only a 2 bed, 1 bath. Not in my budget, that's for sure. Maybe if the neighbors across the street finally sell...its estimated worth is $586K. 

Sunday we were up early and managed to catch the 8:00. We were the last car on and they had me maneuver my car in such a way that I was about 2 inches from the cars around me. We were home just before noon. 

Okay, time to get my shit together.  Again, I haven't made my menu for the week yet so I don't know what I'm making tonight though I'm sure it will be delicious! Happy Monday! Later!
