First of all: HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVA!!! Fifteen! Wow! Just think, this time next year, you're going to be getting your driver's license soon! I can't believe I've been lucky enough to be your aunt for 15 years. You're an amazing person and I love who you're becoming! I can't wait to see you this weekend! Have a great day!
Although today is the last exam day, I finished with my kids yesterday and shouldn't have anyone coming to see me. Additionally, Greg will not be at school today because he's headed to another country. Bye! So happy to have you off my caseload for next year. Speaking of Greg, I sent out my Progress Reports the other day and got a reply from Greg's father, which is unusual since most communication is through mom. Anyway, it was an interesting text. Here's what he said:
A Sincere thank you from my wife and I. I know he’s frustrating but we really do appreciate all you have done. I hate to see you leave his case but I do understand your position. We too have been called racist by him over and over. We totally understand how that hurts and your stance here. Have a great summer.
So today is going to be another BORING day. I've got all my shit done and am now just sitting at school twiddling my thumbs. I'm thinking that after the exam period ends and most kids are out of the building, I'll go to Costco. I don't really need to get anything that needs refrigeration so I might as well get it out of the way. Less to do tomorrow.
Dinner tonight: I might try and find something easy to make at Costco. We'll see. I guess I should probably take a cooler with me to school just in case.
I started a new series last night: Margo's Got Money Troubles on Apple. It's pretty funny. It's got Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfieffer, Nick Offerman (I love him!), Nicole Kidman, and more. It's a show created by David Kelley who also did Ally McBeal, Boston Legal, The Practice and he's married to Michelle Pfeiffer. I've only watched one episode but it drew me in right away and has been renewed for a second season. Check it out.
Okay, well, I don't need to hurry to work but I don't have anything else to talk about. Happy Thursday!
