Yesterday turned out to be a lovely day but it took a bit. While we waited, Jim and I went to lunch at Topsy Turvy and by the time we got home, around 1:00, the clouds dispersed and I was able to soak up some rays for a couple hours. I need to remember that the sun up here is stronger...got a little burnt on my face but it's already gone to tan.
While I laid out, Jim started painting all the baseboards. Seems they only did one coat when the remodeled and they were also filthy. They look nice. After my sun worshiping, I just relaxed until it was time for dinner which was grilled chicken. We watched a couple episodes of Your Friends and Neighbors and then it was time for this old lady to hit the hay.
I woke up with the birds again this morning around 5:30 but thankfully the loud little asshole that wouldn't shut up yesterday was elsewhere. The birds that woke me up this morning were pretty tame. I got out of bed at 6:00, sipped some coffee, did a little yoga and then worked out. I've now showered and am waiting for Jim to come down so we can go to breakfast. I've been craving a blueberry pancake so we'll head to Frostys.
Other plans for today: I'll do some cleaning. Jim needs to go to the Miller freight building to pick up the box spring I bought for the other queen bed here so I can put that together. I'd also like to go to the pool today. The adult pool was redone and I want to check it out. Who knows if Jim will go with me. I'm fine either way.
Dinner tonight will spaghetti...easy and yummy.
And that's all I've got. Jim's finally finished getting himself pretty so we'll head out. Happy...Tuesday...right? Later!
