This weather is starting to really piss me off. It's currently 38 degrees and it's supposed to drop 31 and only reach the low 40s today. When I just got that from Alexa, Jim said, "Mother fucker!" and Alexa answered with "I understand you're frustrated let me know if I can help." Hee hee. I hate that Alexa is always listening but on the other hand it's kind of funny when he answers like that.
Greg was up to no good yesterday and I probably should have expected it (he struggles with coming back to school after a break) but I really just wanted to fucking slap his face. I actually didn't have to deal with him too much because he ended up in the office most of the day. Essentially, he was pissed (again) that he had to drop his phone to me before first bell. I guess he went directly to the VP and made up some sort of story that he and his mom had discussed him keeping his phone through the day but giving it to each individual bell teacher. When the VP brought him down to me to deal with the shituation (and do his job) Greg tried to convince me that he and his mother talked about this. I said, "Well, she didn't share that with me and truthfully it's not her decision. Until she and I have a conversation, things will stay as is." He dropped his phone off and headed to first bell.
Fast forward to 4th bell and he doesn't show up to my history class. Lisa walked in and she said he wasn't in 2nd bell. So I email his 1st bell teacher (notice that once again, I'm having to spend my fucking time riddling out what the fuck is going on) and say "was he with you for Biology?" She emails me back and said he arrived a few minutes late (because he was with me...the VP was supposed to have followed him up) then was completely disruptive and when she told him that maybe he should take a break in the hallway for a minute he said, "Fuck this. I'm going to the office." So apparently he was in the office most of the morning and none of his teachers were informed. JAYSUS! Can someone just fucking do their job!?
Fast forward again to 5th period: The VP comes down to talk about my new plan (I set a few goals that Greg will have to meet by May 1st and if he meets those goals, he can have his phone through the day. He won't meet those goals but they are attainable, he's just an asshole) and then takes his phone with him to, I thought, deliver to Greg at the end of the day. Within 10 minutes, I get an email from his mother saying that he's pissed about the phone and has already sent her dozens of texts. So many that she had to block him. I then had to once again, deal with something that I shouldn't have to deal with. I call down to the VP and tell him what's going on. His solution? He sent him back to class (which was with me) so I had to look at his stupid face. Needless to say I ignored him.
Thirty-three more days!
Well, Jim didn't end up working late last night (he'll work late tomorrow instead) so I ended up making a chicken stir fry which was delicious. I don't' know what I'll make today. I have a summer sausage skillet thingy on my menu but this weather doesn't make me feel like making that. I'll figure something out. Maybe stuffed peppers or who knows. Cereal. Oh, wait, I do have a pizza bake on the menu. That's what I'll make. Jim will like that.
Okay well, I don't like what I'm wearing so I need to skedaddle. Happy Tuesday. Later!
