Dishwasher Woes

My dishwasher is on the blink. Ugh! Lately it's had an issue where it doesn't always drain properly but resetting it and rinsing does/did the job. Yesterday, however, we had an error show up. This dishwasher is not old. (I just looked and it's 7 years old...once again, my blog saves the day.) I mean, how long should a dishwasher last? I just looked it up and the internet says 9-12 years so I'm calling bullshit! When I get to work, I'll look up the error and try to riddle out what I need to do to get this shit fixed. I'm hoping it's easy.

Darek, my Watson's repairman will be here today to fix the "blisters" in my spa. I realized the other day that one of my jets is not working either. It's jet pump 3 which is weird because this is also the same place where the swim current comes from, however, that works fine. Obviously, these two pumps work separately. I talked to someone at Watson's last night and she added the issue to my ticket.

Dinner last night at Rusty Bucket was all I'd hoped it would be. Of course I could only eat half of my taco salad, if that, but it was so yummy. Jim got a taco salad too (his first ever) and loved it. I think I've converted him. It was also 1/2 priced bottles of wine but I just drank diet Pepsi. I was so thirsty and just wasn't feeling wine or beer.

Dinner tonight will be chicken fritters with baked beans maybe and fries.

Reds won against the Rockies last night (I watched most of the game) and are 1 1/2 games up from the Cubs. Woot!

School is boring right now which works for me. I'm heading into the last requirements of my job and trying to get ahead of the paperwork. Once I'm through next week, I'll really be able to start wrapping things up.

Next week the hiring committee for the new principal will hold interviews and one of my lunch ladies has been asked to join. I'll be interested to hear from here who they put on the short list. They'll do the first round interviews on Monday and Tuesday, cut from there and hold 2nd interviews on Thursday. After that, they should make a choice or at least narrow to 2 and then hold a final, 3rd interview soon after. Their goal is to have the next person picked and on the agenda for board approval for the May meeting. Hopefully with the 26 people they invited to be on the committee, they won't fuck this up again.

And that's about all I've got. I guess I'll head to work. Happy Wednesday! Later!
