So Freakin' PISSED

Not because the Bengals lost (although that really bites my ass); not because every time I open my computer and go to the internet one of the first things I see is that buffoon d. trump (when is that fat fucks face going to just go away!?); not because my computer is slower than a turtle walking through peanut butter. No, I'm pissed because I didn't win the freakin' lottery! I mean WTF!? Once again I thought, For sure! Well, I was wrong! BUT! the good thing here is that no one won which only means that I'm going to be even richer than I would have been when the next set of numbers are pulled! So excited! K - I'm not pissed anymore...I see the big picture now...it all makes sense.

Last night - Halloween - was fine. I sat Jim out on the front deck to pass out candy while I cooked dinner. We actually had a record number of kids. People actually made their way down to our cul-de-sac. It helps that they moved the time change to happen after 10/31 so it's still light out. The rush was over by 7:00 which works for me. The kids lucked out too. We had a downpour around 5:15 but then it cleared out by the time the trick or treaters were headed out.

Dinner tonight: Chicken marsala with rice and broccoli. A fave...I'll probably do it in the cast iron...sometimes I do it in the instant pot.

School is school. Nothing exciting is happening. Although the kids are really liking the book we just started (Secret Life of Bees). I think they really like hearing me read all the cuss words. Which is hilarious. At one point yesterday in the chapter, one of the characters said, “Shitbucket, hellfire, damnation, and son of a mother bitch." When I read it, the kids all looked around at each other and just started giggling. It cracks me up that they seem to think it weird to hear me cuss considering my foul mouth. It's probably a good thing they think I'm so proper!

Not much else is happening here. I have an 8:30 meeting today (the reschedule for the transition meeting that was supposed to be last week but the parent - who called the meeting - didn't show). I won't have much to say.

K - time to get going. Happy Tuesday. Later!
