There was a story this morning on CNN about a foul ball that a Reds fan unknowingly caught in his beer. Apparently the tradition when that happens is to chug the rest of the beer with the ball in there. I mean, yuck! Are we still in a pandemic? That doesn't seem very sanitary, right?
Jim's annoying me. I sure look forward to the day when I stay in bed and Jim heads off to work.
So I took a half day today for all those doctor's appointments. I'll also take a bike ride on the trail when I leave school. I have my bike all loaded up and clothes to change into. I hope it's not too chilly. I can't wait!In other news in my time at my desk yesterday, I read Macbeth and formulated comprehension questions in prep for next year. Pretty awesome! I also need to do that for Secret Life of Bees and another book that we'll read. I've started on SLOB and will continue that today. I'll also finish up my IEP progress reports and get ready to send those off to parents. I'm getting closer and closer!
Dinner tonight: Farro with asparagus and peas and maybe some corn on the cob that I need to use.
I cut the backyard yesterday after school and am happy to report I ran into NO snakes. Ooh, speaking of which, I need to search and see if there's such a thing as snake scram. I'll cut the front yard today since we're supposed to get another huge round of rain starting tomorrow. Yuck. We're on track to have one of the rainiest Mays in history.
Jim has his final appointment with his hip doctor today. I would imagine he'll get a thumbs up since he's already been cleared to go back to work. It's really just a formality.
And that's all I've got. Time to finish getting ready and make sure I have everything I need for my bike ride today. Happy Tuesday! Later!
