Downpour

It's absolutely POURING outside. Hate driving in this. I can't decide if I should take the highway or back roads. I'm thinking back roads. We'll see how bad it is when I finally leave in about a half hour.

Yesterday with freshmen was fine...long! I mean, I had anywhere between 1 and 4 kids but for the most part they were all the same kids. The end of the day was nice though because I had about 2 hours to play catch up.

I did NOT get up early today to do yoga...giving myself a little break. When my alarm went off I was pissed because I was just about to drink a margarita in my dream. It looked so good!

Not sure what's for dinner tonight because we have a lot of leftovers and my original meal would produce a bunch more so I feel like I need to rethink my plans. Maybe a grilled chicken dish. We'll see.

Jim's continuing to progress. His incision is itching him though. I told him that's a sign of healing and not to scratch. The whole healing thing I made up but I'm sure scratching it wouldn't be good. He's still wearing his girdle thing though so I think that keeps the itching at bay. He walked Boo again yesterday which is a bonus for me. Fritz came to see him yesterday as well so I'm sure that was nice (he was gone by the time I got home).

Oh, Happy Birthday Lisa!!! Hope 51 is amazing! Hopefully the kids are on their best behavior since it's technically the first day of school for all.

And that's all I've got. I'd best get a move on since it's going to take a little while longer to get to school today than normal. Wish me some luck today since I have NO plans other than just chatting with the kids, checking schedules, explaining a few things and then setting them up with their Google Classroom.

Happy Thursday! Later!
