Is This The Longest Week In History?

First, an update on my pseudo-cold: My tickly throat is gone. That's a relief. I still feel fine but and still a bit nasally and when I woke up, my sinus passages were a little more snotty than they've been. I'll do a Navage this morning and hope that helps. Again, feeling fine.

My shoulder is achy. It's this annoying twinge. It started aching yesterday and I swear it's because of the rain. I really believe that.

I had the craziest dream last night. It featured  Dermot Mulroney. I'm sure he's always in every one's thoughts, right? Anyway, I had a dream that I was trying to prevent him from killing himself. He planned to do it by driving his car at high speed on the highway and crashing. So I get in his car, surprising him as he's about to drive off and I refuse to get out but that doesn't stop him and he tells me I'd better buckle up. So I do and he drives like a maniac and crashes the car and he gets thrown from the car and dies but I'm okay...but a failure. I woke up with adrenalin pumping. I hate that. And then I couldn't get completely out of my dream as I drifted off. Ugh! Hate those kind of dreams.

Let me take a minute to bitch at my mother. Mom, I call bullshit on your excuse for not posting! You have a new Kindle, I get it but that just means that you have to get to your address and sign on. Figure it out lady because I've about had it! I will go on strike and not post if you can't figure it out by the end of the week! You have until tomorrow.

Sorry about that. Sometimes you have to put your foot down, right?

We had a guy that Jim works with come out and look at our yard. He seems to think that we just need another sump pump drain and a little grating and we'll be good. He said the same thing I did: We've had so much rain this year that it's caused a lot of erosion and everyone is dealing with saturated yards. I said, "Should it cost us $5000?" Uh, no! Good! So John, Jim's work buddy, will call a guy and hopefully this guy will deal with it. Fingers crossed people! I can't be mowing my yard in waders all year.

Okay - well, time to get a move on. We're watching Twister in science class and Devil's Arithmetic in LA. Happy Thursday. Later!
