The Rest of Her Life by Larua Moriarty

So I finished Starting Over by Robin Pilcher. It was good but not as good as his other books. This one just had too much description that I could have done without.

I am now on to my next book, The Rest of Her Life by Laura Moriarty. This is about the difficult relationship that mothers and daughters can have. In particular this is about Leigh and her daughter Kara whose relationship is strained already because as with many mothers of teenagers, Leigh doesn't understand her daughter. To add fuel to the fire, however, Kara is involved in an accident that ends up killing another teenager within their town. What follows is Leigh's struggle to deal with her daughter's mistake and the effects that Kara's actions have not only on her family's life but those of the victim's.

I'm only a few pages in (I was too busy playing water volleyball yesterday and holding sweet little J.J. to read) but it's a book that grabs you immediately so I expect I'll like it. I'll let you know though.
