Rainy Days

It's a rainy day here in Cincy. I have no real plans today. I may actually do some work or I may go to the bookstore. I was supposed to go to the bookstore last Friday but alas, I never made it out the door. I am down to one book so I need to stock up. I'll have to make my list.

Other than that, I have no plans. I'm boring. I need to find a project. I'd love to find a bookshelf or something to refinish but every time I go to look somewhere, I find nothing. It's all pre-fab crap with no hopes of ever looking decent. I need to do the piano but the project is so huge, I'm a little afraid of it.

Zeke goes in for surgery tomorrow. I don't believe they're taking too big a chunk out of his ear but I'm still nervous. I keep reading into his moods and thinking that the cancer has spread or something horrible like that. Of course he's acting no different than he always has but once something is planted in your mind, it sometimes takes over.

Bubba got a bath yesterday and now he looks fatter than ever because he's so freakin fluffy. He looks like a snowball with a head. I wanted to scrub him good because suddenly he seemed to be an itchy mess. Unfortunately, I think his bath washed all the dirt off and left him extra sensitive. Just petting him (anywhere) causes him to shiver and then thump his leg up and down like a maniac. Dude needs to go to the dermatologist and we need to do testing for allergies and then put him on shots but I just can't afford that right now along with Zeke's issues. Three dogs is not cheap! But I wouldn't trade them for a zillion dollars.

Okay, I think I'll do a little list making and then get to the bookstore. Later. Sorry I'm boring.
