BTW - last night's dinner was delicious. I made another new recipe - Creamy mushroom sauce with spinach and tortellini. Jim had seconds. Maybe he was just excited that I made a meal that was worthy of actually eating.
Snow's a' comin' Friday night. I'm hoping it doesn't impact my plans of heading north on Saturday. It should move out during the overnight hours Friday so hopefully they highways will be clear. I'm not sure how much we're supposed to get but fingers crossed. I'm only going to Columbus Saturday and coming home Sunday so maybe Mother Nature will cut me a break.
Jim really did a great job on the side yard. Yesterday he finished what he started out there and it looks great. He graded the yard and then laid pavers down. He told me he wanted to rent a slit seeder but I put the kibosh on that until he goes back to work. And then I yelled, "BASEMENT!!!" Just kidding. I didn't yell that but I will today before I leave for work. He needs to get that shit DONE!
I did a yoga this morning which WASN'T a minimal cue one and it really annoyed me. Now that I'm so used to just having the poses called out I don't want to listen to all the mumbo jumbo, flowery, hippy bullshit. It was an okay practice but you don't need to talk the whole time! And it wasn't just calling poses and explaining where to place hands or feet etc. It was a lot of, "Feel the earth pressing against your hands and your feet melting into the earth and feel yourself becoming one with the earth..." blah blah blah! It was annoying! I'll need to be a little choosier in the future.
Oh, Dad didn't go home yesterday but he is going home today. YAY!
