"Yesterday, I refused to poop outside during a rainstorm. After my family left, I left a poo in the foyer. The Roomba then spread the poo all over the 2 rugs on the first floor. Now mom has to spot clean the rugs and disinfect the entire floor. And hopefully clean the poo out of the Roomba."
What a mess that must've been. I'm not sure I'd even try to clean out the poo from the rugs or Roomba. I might just have to toss them and replace. I don't know what the solution to this is either. Who is really to blame? I have puppies who don't like the rain either. I've also had pups who are old and have a hard time holding their "poo" in their advanced age. Maybe the solution here is, pay attention to your pups BMs and maybe DON'T run the Roomba while you're not there.
Those poor kids who had to trick-or-treat last night. I mean, it was freaking freezing! In fact, as the 6 o'clock hour rang and trick-or-treating started, it started snowing. It was more like sleet in my neighborhood, which is worse because when that hits the face, it hurts. Jim started a fire in the pit but it was even too cold for him and he ended up coming in. By then, all the neighborhood kids had gotten their candy and we had no more kids show. Literally, I put dinner on the table at 6:30 and from then on, not one child rang our doorbell. Fine with me.
I managed to mow the backyard yesterday and after the wind and snow, you can barely tell. But that's okay because it was REALLY thick. I'll try to get to the front yard today.
Dinner tonight will be hamburgers, baked beans and fries. Easy.
Maggie will be down tomorrow and I've taken off the day so don't fret if I don't post at my usual time...I'll be sleeping in a bit.
Oh, I got the answer for the paperwork (FMLA) for my absence. Apparently if anyone in the district is going to be absent for longer than 2 weeks due to illness etc., they fill this paperwork out. This is a safeguard for all involved. FMLA is a 12 month thingy...every year a person is eligible for 12 weeks of FMLA. So, if something else were to come up in that 12 month period...blah blah blah. I sent the paperwork over to St. E's to fill out yesterday. Hopefully they'll take care of it quickly so I can take that off my to-do list.
Okay, time to get a move on. Happy Wednesday! Later!
