My Friday

Today is the last day of the work week for me and truly it couldn't come soon enough. I'm just so bored at work right now. For the most part I've got everything ready for when I have to take leave and the IEPs I've got coming up are complete. Other than teaching I sometimes feel like I'm twiddling my thumbs. And the kids...if I could toss all the freshmen in my classes out the window, I wouldn't hesitate. I'm on the first floor so they wouldn't get hurt, I just want to be rid of them! I've said it before and as the weeks have progressed, it hasn't gotten better: They are SOOOOOOO immature. But, like I said, it's my Friday so I won't have to deal with them after today until Monday. I can do that. 

Last night I made one of my lasagna rollup meals and it was delicious. It's the perfect amount for two people. One little loaf pans fits 4 rollups and so with Jim taking 2 for dinner and me 1, it leaves one for leftovers. 

After school today I will be walking the dogs and depending on the amount of rain we get, I may try to mow/mulch the front yard. I did the back yesterday because it was so thick but after the wind and rain today, I'm guessing the front yard will be ready. If we get too much rain, however, I'll have to wait. 

Cullen is coming over this evening and we're going out to dinner. I suggested Asian Paradise which has great sushi and other dishes as well. Can't wait. It's been a while since I've been. 

Tomorrow, by the way, I will be a little later in posting. I'll probably sleep until 5 or 530, do my elliptical and hopefully post by 630. From there I'll walk the dogs, shower and then head north to hang with the Egberts for the weekend. Maggie and I will be making French cakes this weekend because it's probably the only time I'll be able to get up before Christmas while Jim recovers. I made my batter last night and it took everything I had not to scoop up a giant spoonful and just go to town. Yummy. 

Other than that, we'll go out to lunch with Mom Friday and then hang and be cozy Saturday...probably watch some football.
