Connections

I had a weird dream that woke me up and while I was laying there hoping to get back to sleep I thought I need to remember this.  Guess what? I forgot it. Oh well. No one cares about someone else's dreams, right? Except when it involves Dennis Rodman, right? 

So I play Wordle every morning while I'm drinking my first cup of coffee. Recently the NY Times who put Wordle out released a new game called Connections and I'm really liking it but it can be so frustrating. The concept is, you get a set of 16 words and you have to group them in sets of 4 based on a common subject. For example: 

See you then have to group them into something common. BTW - I can't find the answer for this particular set...oops...sorry. And notice, there might be two homophones (sole, soul) that have nothing to do with each other for the game but it messes you up! Fun and frustrating. 

BTW - my ratatouille was delicious last night and it made a ton. I ended up freezing half of it. It will be good on pasta which I'll save for another time. It would be a good meal to take up to the Bay when we go in November. 

Dinner tonight: My plan is a butternut squash and prosciutto pasta with a salad, however, I'm getting my vaccines after school today so we'll see. I don't anticipate feeling bad but you never know. If that meal is too much for me to deal with, I'll just make some mahi mahi. 

BTW - I'm getting the flu, covid and shingles vaccine. I checked and it says it's okay to bundle. I've never had a reaction to the covid one so fingers crossed. I've heard that the shingles one can leave you nauseous...we'll see. 

I have a scholarship IEP this morning at 7:30. The provider is St. X. Typically with a scholarship IEP, the provider writes the IEP which was the case here, and they mostly run the meeting. I tried to expedite the meeting ahead of time to make sure they don't go over our allotted 45 minutes...here's hoping. They've to about 10 people from the staff going not to mention the parents and student. Jaysus, talk about overkill. I'll be happy when this paperwork is filed. Scholarship meetings are such a stupid pain in the ass.
