RIP Sweet Maizy

I don't think my heart can take this: Last night Maizy crossed over the Rainbow Bridge to join all her puppy cousins and friends. She was 16 1/2 and like Anne said in her post on Facebook, that still wasn't enough. What a life she had, always, of course, surrounded by love. She was the sweetest little boss! She may have been small but she was mighty and made sure to let everyone know it. She had more sass and attitude (wonder where she got that!) than any other pup I've met and she was so loved by everyone but especially her family. I know how much she'll be missed but she's still around in the heart of Anne and Madison and Max and Steve and Elphaba. I'm sure she's up in heaven right now telling everyone what's what and taking over as only she could do. Rest in peace sweet fluffy Maizy! You were an awesome girl!
In other news, it's St. Patrick's Day and normally I don't do anything special for this day but tonight I'm making Shepherd's Pie. I might have a Guinness as well when I get home. And! I'm wearing green...I didn't forget.

No plans this weekend. Should be pretty boring which is fine with me.

Maggie and company fly home today from Punta Cana. Safe travels!

BTW - Pedro Pascal lives in New York City which is better for us in terms of distance. That will be a much easier commute to carry on our love affair.

Not much else is happening. It's rainy but that should push out of the area by about lunch time. Oh, Xavier plays today...my alma mater. They are ranked #3 which bodes well for them but you never know. I mean, the #2 team (Arizona) fell yesterday to Princeton. I'm sure a bunch of brackets got busted with that loss.

Okay - gotta head...Happy Friday. Later!
