Out Of Sorts

Yesterday was the epitome of what a Monday is. I was so out of sorts...not feeling right, dizzy, exhausted. It was terrible. I would catch myself staring off into space at work and I just didn't have the brain to do much. Thankfully, I got a TON of sleep last night and woke up feeling refreshed. I'm at about 92% which will get me through today. 

I do have an IEP this morning and though I don't anticipate any issues on my part, there's some potential contention between the family and school psyche. The mother demanded an IQ test even though she was told it wasn't necessary and really tedious and pointless. (IQ numbers don't change.) She thinks that it will determine the type of services her daughter will get. In the end, she shot herself in the foot because her IQ tested just out of the category (ID - Intellectual Disability) which would qualify her for more services. Dumb ass. We'll see what happens. 

Tonight I'll probably make a one-pot spicy Thai noodle dish and a salad. Hope it's good. 

Cincinnati Public announced they're giving the kids a day off after the Super Bowl. I'm crossing my fingers that my district will follow suit. Doubt it because they seem to hate us. 

Speaking of days off, I'm keeping an eye on the weather this week. We're supposed to get lots of rain tomorrow and then Thursday we're going to possibly get ice (which I don't do) and then snow. My biggest issue is the ice we're supposed to get. It's supposed to hit (as of now) during the day on Thursday and I do NOT want to have to drive in that shit. Ugh. 

Okay well since I didn't do shit at school yesterday, I need to get to school and crank some work out. Happy Tuesday! Later!
