Low Key

The weekend was incredibly low key. First because Jim has been on 2nd shift and worked late Friday and then had to work last night. Second because with all the rain (nearly 5 inches since Friday), who wants to venture out? Actually, I take that back - we did go to Shooters on Saturday but only for about an hour and a half. Jim deserved it and I was incredibly good: didn't eat there and only had one beer (A pint of Guinness is only 4 points).

Found a new series that's hilarious! Maggie turned me on to it - it's an original Prime series: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Really funny and truly original. Check it out.

I put a pair of pants on today and was pleasantly surprised to find that they are on the way to being too big! Woot! I did pretty well this weekend. I certainly partook in a few cocktails but I didn't overdo it and didn't go over points with food at all. I'm still very committed to this especially since I'm starting to see results.

And that's about all I've got. Jim's still on second shift and most likely will be through Wednesday. I'll probably stay late at work as a result to try and get some things done since I never seem to have any time during the day...and you know I don't bring home work! That may have to change as I approach my next couple IEPs and observation. Pfft!
