It's A Monday

The weekend was okay as weekends go. I know many of you won't want to know this but I had cramps so bad that it caused me to throw up. Well, let me clarify (because I know you're dying to know more details about me throwing up): Saturday, I was walking the boys; Scout had gone first and I had taken him about a mile. I had just left the house with Boo (had gotten halfway up the block) and I my mouth filled with saliva and I had that oh-shit-I'm-about-to-throw-up thing happen. So I turned back, ran/walked home and blew. Sunday, I was up from about 3:30 on - laying in bed praying that the ibuprofen would work. When I finally got out of bed at 5:30, I had to run to the toilet where I proceeded to dry heave (nothing in my belly) for about 15 minutes. Sucked. Thankfully, the cramps are gone but man oh man I can't wait until menopause sets in entirely!

Other than that the weekend was good. Jim worked Saturday but was home by noon. I made a really delicious dinner Saturday - Turkey meatballs with zucchini noodles. I had seen this latest trend around and Maggie had tried them and so I bought a doodad to spiralize my zucchini and I'll tell you it was yummy! I also made a really good beef stew last night (3 points)...it was really more of a veggie beef soup though.

Tomorrow I'm taking a 1/2 day and then Wednesday I have a personal day. I'll head to Columbus tomorrow for an appointment and then later that night: Maroon 5! Woot! And bonus, we're going to be in a box that Charlie's work has available! Free booze and food! Not that I'll partake too much but I'm sure I'll have to go off my diet a little bit. Can't wait!

Wednesday, I'll stay in C-bus to take Eva to school and then walk with Maggie and then I'll head home. Jim is back on 2nd shift at some point this week which is fine. It only bothers me because, well, I'd prefer him home at night and I like to cook. However, the boys like him on 2nd shift because then they don't have to get in their cages.

And...here comes the rain. Yuck. We're supposed to get another couple inches over the next day or two. Sick of my soupy back yard. That will be Jim's next task: Seed and hay the back yard.

I have an IEP this week - Thursday - but BONUS - I actually wrote most of the thing this weekend. I actually brought home work and actually did work! I didn't do all I had meant to do but hey - I did something.

And that's all I've got. Time to get a move on. We'll start watching Macbeth in my LA classes today and we're moving on to new chapters in history and science. Exciting! K - happy Monday. Later!
