A Four Day Week

Oh boy...just had a little tussle upstairs with the pups. They're up there cuddling with their daddy and I'm guessing they're both trying to be the closest and BAM! Didn't seem bad, however...Jim managed to wrangle them pretty quickly. That rarely happens anymore (knock on wood) but Boo definitely has his buttons.

Anyway - I hadn't planned on a four-day week but alas, Jim scheduled his colonoscopy for Friday and he has to have a driver. He's all worried he's going to poop himself. HA! I told him it isn't that bad and we'll certainly put a garbage bag down on the car seat. His appointment is at 9:30 but we have to be there at 8:30. His prep starts the night before at 6:30. I told him he may have to sleep in the guest bedroom. Don't want my beauty sleep interrupted.

BTW - the computer doesn't recognize the spelling for colonoscopy and it's suggestion is "kaleidoscope". Ha! Let's put one of those up Jim's bum! No one wants to see that!

Aw...it's 9/11. Oh, and it's a Tuesday. I think the actual 9/11 was a Tuesday as well. Seventeen years! Who can believe that?

It's also my neighbor Lauren's birthday. Doesn't that suck!?

Jim should be on his last day of 2nd shift today. I'll be glad when this is over...I miss having him at home and I miss cooking a different meal every night. I've been eating leftovers for a few days and will again tonight. I mean, they're good leftovers but still...I'd like to change it up.

I'll stay a bit late today at school to try and crank some shit out. I tried that yesterday but my mind wouldn't settle down and I ended up coming home only about a 1/2 hour later than usual so I could decompress by walking the boys. For the most part that worked. It was a lovely, fall feeling day. Made me jones for fireplace weather. I can't wait for that!

Okay well, best to head out. Last day of free Sirius XM radio - BOO! Guess I'll be back to listening to books.
