We had a pretty good storm roll through last evening around 6:30 but it wasn't too, too bad. It produced some small hail (less than marble size) and had some rumbles of thunder but it rolled through pretty quickly and didn't do any damage here. There were some storms last night as well but I only heard one rumble of thunder. Sunny eventually today and through the weekend so hopefully we'll get dried out and manage to get the fence done (need it done by next week for an appraisal - more on that).
Jim didn't get home until 11:30 last night. He's up and at 'em already today and about to leave for work (at 5:30 AM). He'll definitely be going to bed early tonight.
My neighbor about 3 houses down mentioned to me last week that he was about to refinance his house and got a 2.875 quote for a 15 year mortgage. HOLY SHIT! I immediately jumped on it, called the guy yesterday. The ball is rolling and all paperwork etc. should be complete in the next few weeks. It will take my mortgage from the 18 years we have left to a 15 year and drop my payments per month by $100. Pretty good! I'll be gathering papers in order to print and send to the guy today at school.
Lets see...what else. Nothing. I think I'll head up and out early so I can get papers together and sent early.
