After today, we have four more Mondays until summer!!! (Unless we have make up days which I'm NOT counting on!) That makes me happy especially after my alarm went off today and I had a hard time getting out of bed. Actually I didn't really hear the alarm go off I just felt Jim moving around which woke me up. It's that time of year where I start staying up later and later, not caring anymore if I'm tired becuase I know I'm nearing the finish line. Not a good thing.
In negotiation news - no meeting has been set so far with the mediator...a couple of dates have been suggested but not shared with us yet. I do know that the tentative May 5th date isn't going to work. I'm hoping for next week at some point and not this week as I have 3 meetings scheduled (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). I'm also hoping that this thing doesn't go into the summer since I have a vacation planned on the 12th. Fingers crossed.
My 6 month dental appointment is this afternoon after school. Crossed fingers that my teeth aren't falling out of my head.
Hmm...what else? Not much is going on in school. The spanish only speaking student is sort of a pain in my ass. She's a sweet girl but I have no clue how much she's even understanding and have had no real indication of her reading level. In the novel we're reading she'll maybe be able to answer 5 out of 20 questions on her own...well, not on her own. Someone has to read them to her but she'll know the answer without having to be told. I'm still not understanding why she's even in my class...makes no sense. And, the idea that she doesn't even speak or understand Spanish well is bullshit becuase I see her walking around and talking (a mile a minute by the way) to her spanish speaking friends. But...whatever...I'm data collecting apparently.
And that's all I've got. Best head up and finish my routine.
