Target, Costco and Butt-Ugly Shoes!

Thursday - I can't believe the week has flown like this. Someone needs to slow down the rotation of the earth and right quick! Where's Superman when you need him? This summer is going way too fast and I haven't won the lottery yet to allow for me to quit my job. What the hell!?

So, yesterday was good: I went to Susan's and hung with her and J.J. (New nickname: Homer. Trip's friends at work have started calling him that; a baseball term representing a 4-base hit and the fact that J.J. is the fourth.) Anyway, at around 2, we went up the street to a bar and grill and met Trippy tiki tavi for lunch. Then, Susan and I went to DSW - she had a pair of shoes to return and get this: neither of us bought anything!!! I did however see the ugliest pair of shoes ever created. Seriously, I thought it was a joke and felt there must be a hidden camera attached to this pair to film any person who picked them up. (By the way, this is not the pair but they come in at a close second and they cost $239!!! Who would pay that!? Probably Maggie - hee hee.)

Now on to today's plans: I will soon be heading upstairs to shower and head out the door to Target (need chewies for the pups) and then Costco (hamburgers for the 4th). Afterwards, I'll come home and hang with my peeps (or pups, whatever).
