A Firefighter

So, another crazy dream last night. It's actually been a while since a) I've had a dream that I remember long enough to write about and b) is worthy of telling.

So, last night, that's right, I was a volunteer firefighter. I worked part-time at some station where there were about 10 men and two other women who were all full-time, paid FF's. I don't know why I was working there except I have a snippet that I had to get community service. Not because I was paying some debt back to society or anything, it was some sore of requirement for my job. Whatever.

It actually wasn't a very exciting dream. We only went on one run and I remember that in my dream I was hot as hell in my getup. (Note, I had some serious hot flashes from the clomid last night that I think prompted this dream). I was sweating my ass off and nothing I was wearing fit. The next thing I remember after that was we had a "practice" run to do and had first wait for our pants to dry in the dryer (apparently the chief decided to wash all the FF outfits - those huge, thick pants and they took forever in the dryer). Then, once everything was dry, no once could find the right boots. I kept yelling, "Where are the boots that I wore on the first run?!" But no one would fess up. I found out later that you had to go buy your own boots and on the first run, it was me who had stolen someone else's. Oops. Funny dream. By the way, this is almost exactly what the getup looked like.

Oh, and I just remembered that I was going through all the lockers looking for boots and all I could find were lockers full of bricks! What the hell does that mean, do you think?

Okay, so I'm loving my book by the way. You know, Twilight? The vampire one. It is awesome. It's about 500 pages and I plan on finishing it today and going out to buy the next one. I haven't loved a book like this since Harry Potter or my Outlander series. Very exciting for me. I want badly to check to see who the characters are that are cast in the movie, but I'm afraid it will ruin it for me.

Alright. That's it. Nothing else more exciting. This week I plan on having lunch with Susan Tuesday and then Jim and I might go out on a "date" Tuesday evening since Wednesday, I'll be going up to Columbus to hang with Maggie. I'll be back Thursday and after that, I don't know what my plans are. I need to start doing some work for school but every time I think about it, I get depressed. This doesn't bode well for the coming year. I need to get "excited" and quit thinking the worst is going to be.

K - later.
