Yippee!!! The Weekend!

Even though every day is the weekend to me.

SO Maggie left around 9:30. Yesterday we had a good time at the pool, I got sort of red. We hung out with Cullen for a bit and chatted with him and Dad and Becky as they prepared for their departure to Germany for about 12 days. Lucky bitches. Maggie was telling them to sing Sound of Music songs to please the natives and I told them that instead of correctly pronouncing Auf Wiedersehen (goodbye) they should say, "Our feet are the same"! I figure natives love it when you can't speak their language but you try and in turn, butcher it. They think that's funny.

Anyway, today Jim and I were invited to our neighbor, Jane's house. She lives three houses up, is my age (I think) has a pool and thought a cookout would be fun. We'll be there from about 2 until after dinner. I made a couple of dips to take but I'm not sure if their good or not. See, my allergies have been a little haywire and my nose is stuffed and I can't taste much. So, I'm waiting for Jim to taste the guacamole and white bean dip I made. I'm also going to whip up a pepperoni pizza dip. Should be fun.

Aside from that, I'll just be getting everything ready for PIB. We leave on Monday and will return Friday. I can't wait. I told Trip we'd have to go and play some tennis as well as hang at the pool and take Molly Longbody on golf cart rides. She loves them.

Okay, I best head to the kitchen to prep for the pepperoni dip. I hope it's good.

Later.

You have got to get the book I told you about for your PIB trip! You will love it. I bought a new mattress pad and two new pillows for the queen bed upstairs. I hate slobery pillows! Our feet are the same gave me a belly laugh! Kathleen

I will definitely get the book - I've actually seen that and have it written on my "list" that I keep in my purse!

What do you mean we had a good time? Besides your bad attitude we had a GREAT time. I was thinking that Cullen might think that "The Hills Are Alive" is some horror flick.
