So Jim and I returned from PIB today. It was fabulous. We had very little rain and very much sunshine - perfect. Some of the highlights were spending time cuddling with sweet baby James (J.J.), Trip and I teaming up kicking Jim and Susan's asses in Euchre, scrumptious dinners, hanging at the pool and laughing. A high point on Jim's vacation was when he beat up the poor girl with Downs Syndrome. Picture it, Jim's in the pool at the Crew's Nest, throwing a few baskets and this 15 or 16 year old girl joins him - with Downs Syndrome - wanting her turn. So he gives her the ball and proceeds to play basketball with her. Well, at one point, she shoots the ball, Jim retrieves it and throws it back to her (from about 20 feet away). Guess what happened? Yup! Hit her smack in the forehead. From my lounge chair at the side of the pool (you can see how far from the picture) I let out a bit of a yelp. And then!!!??? Jim proceeds to do it AGAIN!!! Now, I ask you: Do we really need the results of the blood chromosome test to see that Jim is in fact retarded? Poor thing (the girl, not Jim)!

Glad to hear that your trip went well. John and I are greatly looking forward to our Marblehead trip. Great pics of the lake too.
I'm glad you had a good time too, BUT, you are really tan and we're in a fight
