Allergies, Again!

Ugh! How sick am I of sneezing? And my nose is a stuffy/runny mess. I don't understand it. I need to get to an allergist and see what the eff is up. I never had issues before until I was about 18. At that point I had seasonal, fall allergies. Now, they pop up at the most random times. It's so frustrating. Oh well.

So yesterday, like I had mentioned, Jim and I went to my neighbor's house for a little "hanging by the pool" and then a cookout. We went over at 2 and ended up getting home at midnight. We had a really good time. The pool was great; there was a lot of laughing and drinking but when you figure it was over a 10 hour period, it all evened out and I never felt "drunk" or even "tipsy" for that matter. Plus I came home to change out of my suit and chugged a few ibuprofen just in case. No hangover - Yeah!!!

Jim, Jane and I tried to teach Greg (her boyfriend) Euchre but alas, he isn't a "card guy" and after one game (Jane and I won), we ended up playing 80s Trivial Pursuit instead. Jim and I partnered up (we were the Care Bear - Jim's choice) and pretty much won - though we ended our game a little early because a mouse ran across the room and we had to chase it down. It was the cutest thing you've ever seen. He was one scared little effer but we managed to save him and free him outside. At that point, we all decided to call it a night so Jim and I headed out, took the dogs for a midnight walk and then hit the hay. I managed to sleep until 7:30 - not bad considering a night of drinking usually leaves me poorly rested and groggy.

So in a few, I'll get showered and head to Costco real quick to get a few essentials. I think I'll make chicken burgers for dinner tonight and get something easy and pre-made for Sunday since we'll leave Monday morning and I don't want a bunch of leftovers sitting in the fridge. Aside from that, I think I'll take it easy today. It's beautiful again but I've been in the sun 3 days in a row and I need to give my body a rest. I'm o.d-ing on vitamin D.
