My back is KILLING me! Normally on a Friday I get on my elliptical in the morning but today I was in so much pain, I decided to put it off until after school. I tossed and turned last night too. Every position which I would initially find to be comfortable and pain free would eventually start hurting. It's my lower back, into my hip and then shoots down my thigh. I've got the massager in my car that I got from Maggie and I'll take that into school today to try and work this shit out. Thankfully (or sadly) it will be raining after work so I probably won't be able to walk Scoutie so all I'll have to do is my elliptical. (Poor Scout!)
Guess what? I didn't end up making the Italian sausage and ragu with polenta last night. After the Altafiber debacle Jim and I decided to go to Shooters. However, it was packed and we couldn't get our seats so we ended up going to Kirby's (a local restaurant) and it was yummy! We need to go there more often. Lots of choices and really delicious. It kind of looks like a dive but aren't the best places dive-like?
So there's an apartment building near to where my parents live where Kristyn's grandma used to live called Hammond North. You can see it from a LOT of places throughout the city becuase it sits high up on a hill. It was always a luxury condo place with a great view and pretty nice facilities (pool etc). We used to go there with Kristyn and company to swim sometimes. Anyway, as things do, it's turned into disrepair. I believe someone has purchased it and they're rehabbing the whole place and the company that Jim works for will be doing some of the work. They expect it to take 2 years. So, Jim will most likely be working there a LOT! I'm kind of excited for him. I'm hoping that he'll be stationed there pretty steadily. It's nice when he has a place to go for a long period of time becuae then he doesn't have to haul his shit in and out of his truck. Fingers crossed.Okay well, that's all I've got. Dinner will be the Italian sausage. I know, you'll believe it when you see it. Happy Friday and happy weekend. Jim and I are going to Terri and Marc's for dinner tomorrow but other than that, no plans. Later!
