Busted Brackets

Both my brackets are pretty much busted. I still have one that has the Tarheels winning but for the most part, it's done. This is why I don't play these stupid games! Jim's brackets are still kicking so there's that. We'll see how it all shakes out.

The weekend was fine. Pretty boring. We were going to go out to dinner Saturday but decided to put it off until tonight. We're going to go eat at Kitchen Social in Montgomery. I'm excited as I haven't been and I've heard a lot of good things. We'll go early so we can hopefully sit at the bar. I'm hoping a Monday night will be slow night. We'll see.

Jim's still not back to work full-time (it's supposedly about to get really busy with the Hammond North job and then they're doing something at Lunken Airport) so he and I will be out and about today running errands. We'll go to Aldi and then Costco and then maybe lunch. I need to stop by school and pick up my computer, too. I meant to bring it home and then forgot. I'm a dummy. I was so hot to get the hell out of there Friday...ugh!

I've been dealing with a lot of headaches of late. I don't know why either. It's the headache I usually get when stressed but I don't feel stressed so I'm not sure what's going on.

I watched a good movie yesterday: Anatomy of a Fall on Hulu. It was good and one of those movies that had me thinking about it the rest of the day and night.

I finished listening to the ALS book (Every Note Played) on Saturday while walking Scout and as you can imagine it was not a happy ending. Of course I was bawling while walking and of course I didn't have any tissues and of course there was an Easter egg hunt going on with a ton of people milling about. I'm sure I looked like a maniac.

I started listening to The Postcard by Anne Berest. It's a book that delves into a Jewish family's history part of which takes place in France during the Holocaust Should be nice and uplifting. Why do I keep choosing these books that leave me slaughtered?

Okay well, time to go do my yoga. I'll then get on the elliptical and then walk the dogs before showering and heading out for some shopping. Happy Monday! So happy for this first day of Spring Break. I hope it creeps by. Later!
