Aches & Pains

If it's not my eye, it's my back or my hips or my knees. Getting old sucks! My eye is still healing...there's still some fluid in it which is annoying but nowhere near to what it was. My back feels good again since I've started sleeping with a pillow between my knees to take some pressure off it. My knees only give me little tweaks every now and then when I'm in certain yoga positions so not too bad there. It's my hips and hip flexors, however, which have been giving me the biggest problem of late. It's like a constant ache and it sucks for sleeping because when I stay in one position too long, my hips start throbbing and it wakes me up and I have to struggle to find a new position. It blows. Oh well...I guess this is just what I have to deal with as the years pass.

BTW - with all that, I slept really well last night and was actually awakened by my alarm rather than waking up 13 minutes before it went off.

Jim's a dummy. Actually this one wasn't Jim's fault. It'd just been a while since we had a "Jim's a dummy" story so I thought I'd toss that out as an attention getter. Anyway, Jim went to Costco yesterday and got wine. Apparently the check-out chick accidentally hit 33 bottles instead of 3 but didn't realize it until after Jim checked out. She had to give him cash back. Oops. I wondered what he'd bought when I got a text alert from my bank saying he'd spent over $300. I knew the list wasn't that big and I was worried he found some dumb shit we didn't need to buy. Thankfully it was an honest mistake.

Dinner tonight: It's going to be beautiful so I think I'll grill some chicken. Plus I don't want to make anything with leftovers since we're chockfull currently.

Ooh, I started a new series on Netflix, The Gentlemen. It's a Guy Ritchie series and so far so good. It's pretty funny. The lead dude is Theo James who was the slut from the 2nd season of White Lotus. He's pretty.

K - time to move on. Happy Tuesday! Later!
