You will be happy and not surprised to hear that my school called off for the eclipse. Most schools in the area are doing that and now, I don't have to worry about calling in "sick" that day while I'm in PIB. I took a personal day on the 9th too. Can't wait to be on the island. I hope the weather cooperates. Really I hope the lake cooperates. Spring is always a crap shoot.
Jim and I are pretty planless this weekend. I told him we could go out to eat somewhere nice Saturday if he wants but he hasn't decided. I'm happy to cook too. Speaking of which, tonight I'll make a homemade pizza and salad. Mainly I'm doing this because I have some pizza dough in the fridge I need to use. I'll doctor it up and make it as close to Detroit style pizza as I can. Other than that, we'll just hang out.
School will hopefully be an easy day. I'm giving a test in ELA (finally finished The Help) and then my Government kids worked really hard this week and deserve a video day. I'm not sure what I'll show. They don't care. I'm actually hoping a lot of kids won't be there. I know there are several who are leaving early for vacation.
I think I'll stop and get the kids donuts again today. Hopefully I'll be able to get out of my garage this time. I still have orange juice so I won't need to get that. Monday when I took in donuts, I got Entemann's and in my opinion (though I didn't eat any) they sucked. They looked soggy and yucky to me. The kids didn't seem to mind and gobbled them up. Anyway, I think today I'll get some different ones.
I slept pretty shitty last night. I woke up around 2:30 and never really got back to sleep. But...that's okay because it's Friday and my spring break starts at 2:30. I'm sure I'll cut out of school earlier than that too.
Okay well I have nothing else to talk about. Guess I'll get my shit together since I'm stopping at Kroger. Happy Friday. And don't forget, Monday I'll be sleeping in a bit so won't post until a little later. Later!
