My computer was being an asshole and I need to get to school. I'll complete this post when I get there. Stand by!
Update: It was a wonderful weekend. Relaxing, fun with lots of laughs and best of all, no drama! How many people can say that when they get together with family where there are so many personalities!?
So yeah, Saturday, Jim and I got up and did our normal Saturday morning routine. After that, we hit the road for Trip's house around 10:00 (driving separately). Trip, Charlie and Eva had already left for Perfect North and JJ was at baseball practice. When he was done at noon, Susan and I picked him up, he came home to change and then Anne and Steve took him to ski with the others.
Mostly the 5 of us left behind just sat around chit chatting and getting stuff ready for dinner. Dad and Becky arrived around 4:00 or 4:30, around the same time the others came back from skiing. Once again, we hung out, ate, drank, played some cards, played the game that was supposed to be played on Christmas Eve. While the others played more cards, I hit the hay around 10:00.
Sunday we all got up and had a giant breakfast. We needed to leave at around 11:00 to get to Sliver Lake by 11:30. Trip had gotten us a two-game window for duckpin bowling but we ended up adding time. It was fun and I didn't do too poorly in my game.
Jim left for home after we finished up and and I headed back with the others to Trip and Susan's. We had a yummy spaghetti dinner (Dad and Becky came over as well) and then it was more euchre and some Uno with the kids.
Yesterday we all got up and after breakfast I was on the road for home by 10:00. After a stop at the grocery, I got to see my babies. We walked, I did some elliptical and then just relaxed. Jim and I met at Shooters for a couple beers and then it was home for dinner (homemade chicken fingers, green beans and fries).
The week should be a fairly easy one since it's a short one. We're going to get in the 70s which is crazy and then of course the weekend will cool down.
Dinner tonight: Shrimp tacos, slaw and probably rice or something.
And that's all I've got. Like I said, my computer was being an asshole so I had to post at work which is a pain because the firewall won't let me sign into my blog so I'm having to type this out in an email, send it to myself, get on my phone and post there. See the things I do for you!?
K - happy Tuesday (don't forget it's Tuesday Maggie). Later!
