Confused Puppy Or Just Hungry

With the lovely weather we've had these last couple of days, I've been able to keep the slider open so the pups can come and go. As a result, they have been playing hard from the time I get home until about 7:00. Last night, they were so rambunctious it was like we had two little tornadoes spinning around the house. I think the ramifications were that their metabolism sped up and I had two hungry pups at 4:00 AM. Boo came up on the bed and tried to lure Jim out which he really only does on the weekend. This made me think maybe he's confused as to which day it is. Who knows? And right now, they are both still up and very kissy whereas their normal routine is to be sacked out. They so cray cray! 

We'll have one more day of unseasonably warm weather today until a quick 30 degree drop but that won't last long and we'll be back into the 50s/60s next week. This weather really effs a person up. Jim came home last night with 2 small rose plants and I told him, "Dude! It's February! What're we going to do with those?" It was sweet though and they are pretty. I just need to keep them alive until May when I can plant them in the ground. 

Slept like a baby again last night. Laying off the alcohol certainly helps plus I was exhausted yesterday and I don't know why. And BTW - the fact that it was Margarita Day yesterday and I refrained is quite an accomplishment for me! 

Dinner tonight: I'm making an air fryer sweet chili chicken and Brussel sprout dish with rice. I've not made this before...hope it's good. 

Oh man, the Alex Murdaugh trial is possibly going to be interesting over the next couple days. The defense is teasing the possibility of putting Alex on the witness stand. Of course they tried to appeal to the judge to limit the questions the prosecution could ask. The bumpkins are so stupid! Thankfully they have a good judge who doesn't fall for their goofy shit.
