Jim's So Happy

And we're now new truck owners! Woot! Yesterday went swimmingly in that it was hassle free for the most part. Other than having to field a few phone calls from the dealership, get pictures of documents to them and fill a few things out online, it was incredibly painless. The only thing that still needs to happen in terms of paperwork is I need to get the title for the Sante Fe to them but I have to wait for a letter from 5/3 releasing the lien and then get the title from the BMV. (BMV or DMV?) Additionally, we are adding a spray seal liner to the truck bed and getting a hard cover for the bed so when the cover comes in, we'll get that taken care of. Jim's so happy and I'm so happy for him.

In other news, I called in today which is why I'm late getting this posted. Sorry. Tomorrow I have a half day to go to the endodontist. That should be interesting because I really don't have any pain anymore but my dentist wanted me to get checked out and established with someone just in case. I'll leave school around 11:00, run some errands and the go the appointment. Fingers crossed I DON'T need a root canal.

Let's see...what else? Dinner will be leftovers tonight since we have a ton. Today I'm fasting which means I need to stay busy this morning. I've already done yoga and after I finish this I'll get on the elliptical. I'm hoping it will warm up a little so I can walk the dogs. I didn't get a chance to yesterday with everything going on and how cold it was. They're jonesin'. I need to go fill my gas tank and I'll do a little house cleaning. I figure once all that's done it will be time for lunch. I hope...I'm starving.

Yesterday while we waited for the guy to come get Jimmy's trade in, Doug and Lauren texted to see if we wanted to play cards. This is unusual on a school night but I'm sure they needed to get out of the house and decompress a bit from the trauma of Jane's death. We played a couple games of euchre (Lauren and I got our asses handed to us...it wasn't our night) and then Jim and I ate dinner (popcorn chicken salad) and then called it a night.

So that's what's happening in my world. I checked my email today and saw that 12 teachers at school didn't have a sub today. Ugh! Things are obviously still a shit show and people from central office are still covering.

K - happy Tuesday! Later!
