Fritz is in town because he's sold the house and is closing in March so there's a LOT to pack up and get rid of. I don't believe he'll be taking much with him in terms of furniture (maybe the guy who bought is keeping a lot?) but Jim did ask me if there was anything I wanted. Here's the thing about that: He's asked me this before, a couple months ago and the only thing I said I'd want? I forgot what it was. I think it was this really pretty glass fish but Jim thinks it was a turtle. Must have meant a lot to me. Jim wants a chair but not much else. Realistically, so much of the furniture is really old-fashioned and not my style. It's beautiful but just not fitting for my house. We'll see. I told Jim, that he was NOT to bring anything home without my okay. I know that sounds controlling but Jim has a tendency toward sentimentality and if I let him, we'd end up with a beer cap collection and other shit to fill the garage. Nope!
I made another go-to dinner last night - Air fryer crispy lemon chicken. Every time I make this I like it more than the last time. So yummy! Tonight, like I said is a "whatever" night and I think I'll make a taco salad of some sort.
Ozark is back! I really love this show. Love me some Jason Bateman! Every time I watch it, there are 2 or 3 "HOLY SHIT" moments and the premier episode didn't disappoint. This is the last season but of course they're splitting it into two years. The first part is going to be 7 episodes, I think. That should take me a couple weeks to get through since I only really watch them on the elliptical each morning. I want to make it last as long as I can to savor it.
God, I forgot how to spell "savor". I thought it was "savour". Oops.
Not much else to talk about. It's cold as shit...currently 7 degrees out there with a wind chill of -9. Yowza. You know there will be kids wearing shorts at school. They're so stupid but you can't tell them anything.
