It's a short week with kids as we have an in-service on Friday then we have Monday off which I didn't realize until this morning! Woot! So excited! I did I not realize that I have next Monday off?
There was an animal making weird noises outside this morning and Scout wanted out so badly but I wouldn't let him go. After my shower, however, I didn't hear it anymore and so I let Scout go and he's been out there now for about 20 minutes which isn't usual. He usually comes right back. I've called and called for him but have gotten no response. He's a turkey! It's weird that I haven't heard him out there either. Hmm...
Jim's going in at 8:00 to get his drain removed! Woot! His doctor is coming in special for him as she went on maternity leave Friday (and is due Thursday). Hopefully this is it for his gut issues. He'll have a follow up in December but then that's it. Hopefully Jim will be back at work this week. So happy for that to happen!
The weekend was pretty good. My shower rod broke so I've had to use Jim's shower which doesn't bother me at all because it's a good shower. Jim will have to get me a new rod today when he's out and about. We went out Saturday and ran errands, stopped at the butcher and got some lovely filets for dinner; had lunch at Roosters. Sunday was a shit show of football. So hard to watch but what're you going to do?
