On the one hand I look forward to getting home to see my boys because I miss them something fierce (all three of them) but on the other hand I'm going to miss my mom. And I worry for her and R. However, it's been so nice to be here to help her out while Richard is in rehab. I just wish I could stay longer and help her get things in order to hopefully come north for good in the near future. There's so much to do here to prep such a move and I'm sure it's daunting but hopefully all the kids (Arbaughs and Blossers) will step up and lend a hand.
So yeah, yesterday I did a major clean of the kitchen, top to bottom. It sparkles! I also made 6 dozen French cakes to leave with Mom. Hopefully she'll be able to take some to R. It's so stupid, at the other rehab place (where he was the first time around after breaking his leg) they would allow him to have food delivered from a restaurant or whatever but nothing could be brought from home. I told mom that if this new place has the same rules she needs to figure out where R is and pass him the cakes through the window. Anyway - after all that yesterday Mom and I hunkered down in front of the fire and watched TV and just talked.
Today I got up, did yoga and then Mom and I headed out to Target and Walmart. We had to get home for an 11 o'clock phone conference with the rehab center that ended up getting cancelled (of course...it's rescheduled for tomorrow). After bringing mom back, I headed back out to walk. I'm now home, I've eaten lunch and after I post this, I'll do some school work. Tonight we'll do the same thing we did last night except I'm going to make a couple of cheese pizzas and a salad.
Tomorrow I'll get up like usual but plan on being on the road around 8:00. I want to get home with plenty of time to grocery shop, exercise and walk the dogs before Jim comes home. I'm sure he'll be tired after a week of working and after completing his radiation. He had his last round today! YAY!
Oh, and shit at school with the lunatic parent is now rearing its ugly head into my world. Long story short: Kid is in my LA class. Mom doesn't want him there (she's hates me for reasons she can't seem to pinpoint but then she's mentally ill so that's not a surprise); administration refuses to take him out of my class; she's making waves. At a meeting yesterday, she apparently said I've abused her son and that I haven't followed the IEP. She's said that her son said I've been "rough" with him as well (so he's a liar too...not surprised). Additionally she lied and said she messaged me on Facebook (I've never had a message from her nor would I ever reply to a message from her and if I got a message from her you can bet I would screen shot it and send it to the powers that be...I will NOT be harassed). Anyway - here's what pisses me off: Why, when this woman is so clearly lying about me, is this kid allowed to stay in my class? I've asked the administration already for a second adult in the room with me but that hasn't happened (I don't trust this kid either as he's obviously lied about me too). You can bet that IF this woman says a word about me publicly (on FB or some other public forum) I will take measures to ensure she doesn't get away with it. The district, allowing this to happen is culpable and to me, they are not support me or my reputation. Why? Because they don't want to give in to her. I'll calm down and be sure to let the powers that be know my feelings and intentions if things go further.
Okay - time to get some shit done. Happy Thursday! Stay healthy and Covid free people. Later! (No post tomorrow probably).
